Step 1
After conducting a range of tests, your dentist may take some samples of the microbes in your mouth to determine the presence of potentially harmful bacteria.
Step 2
If harmful bacteria are found in the sample, we will prescribe an antibiotic and antimicrobial rinse, both of which are targeted to the bacteria causing your infection. Your dentist will recommend a series of self-care techniques designed to keep your mouth healthy after treatment.
Step 3
We will schedule a follow-up appointment to confirm that your treatment has worked properly.
